Yes

If I receive a grade below C- in a required Criminal Justice course, do I need to repeat the course?

Yes

If I receive a grade of C- in a required Sociology course, do I need to repeat the course?

For Sociology 201, if you pass the class (grade higher than an F, but below a C-) you do NOT need to repeat the class. The credits do not count towards the major, so you will need to take another sociology class to replace the credits. For Sociology 301 and 312, the class needs to be repeated.

Criminal Justice contact: Dr. Eric Rise – erise@udel.edu

Sociology contact: the Sociology faculty of your choice to see if she/he would be willing to do an internship with you.

For Concentration Practicum contact the specific concentration advisor listed below. Dr. Barret Michalec – Health Services concentration – bmichal@udel.edu Dr. Tricia Wachtendorf - Emergency & Environmental Management – triciaw@udel.edu Dr. Gerald Turkel – Law and Society – gmturkel@udel.edu Dr. Anne Bowler - Social Welfare – abowler@udel.edu
