Biography
Stephanie Ha is a Ph.D. student in the Department of Sociology and Criminal Justice at the University of Delaware. She earned her B.A. with Honors in sociology at the University of Washington and her M.A. in sociology at the University of Delaware. Her M.A. thesis was titled "Persistence of Police Legitimacy: Understanding Asian American Perspectives," which was a qualitative analysis of Asian American perceptions of the police, specifically regarding how they construct support of the police. Stephanie has presented her research at multiple conferences, including the Academy of Criminal Justice Sciences and the American Society of Criminology. She is currently a research assistant at the Center for Drug and Health Studies.
