Biography
Originally from Denver, Colorado, Danielle is a product of Denver Public Schools and earned a B.S. in Human Development and Family Studies from Colorado State University. In spring 2018, she earned an MA in Education Policy from Teachers College at Columbia University. As an education researcher by trade, Danielle has worked at the American Institutes of Research, Harlem Children’s Zone, and the New York City Department of Education. She hopes to combine her experiences in education and newly acquired knowledge of social theory in her future work. Her research interests include the sociology of education, social theory, and racial stratification. She is a two-time AmeriCorps alum and the 2023 Equal Justice Fellow in the Department of Sociology and Criminology at UD
