    Biography

    ​Brandie Pugh, M.A. is a PhD Candidate in the Department of Sociology and Criminal Justice at the University of Delaware. Her major areas of expertise are in social and feminist theory, sociolegal theory and feminist jurisprudence, criminology,  social construction of reality, help-seeking practices of sexual assault victims, conceptualization of consent, perpetration, and substance use. She focuses her research on multiple levels of society including micro and macro levels. She is especially interested in how societal dynamics at the macro level are enacted at the individual and interpersonal levels.
